Antelope Valley Harley-Davidson® Staff

Ron is originally from Ventura and moved to Leona Valley in 1982 and since resides in Quartz Hill Ron has been in the vehicle industry his whole life in one form or another. He is also the founder of THUNDER ON THE LOT, a huge charity car and bike show we have every year in June. You can check it out on www.thunderonthelot.com. Ron had his first Harley a 1959 FLH when he was 21. He has been the majority owner at AV H-D® since 2004.

Scott has resided in Lancaster since the mid 70's. He is a third generation Harley-Davidson mechanic. He started wrenching in 1978 at Palmdale Harley-Davidson® was there until it closed in 1984. He then assisted in the opening of Harley-Davidson of Lancaster in 1985. Five years later he became a minority partner with the then owners Bill & Gail Buchanan until Ron came along in 2004. Scott enjoys cross country touring, scuba diving, camping and off-roading.

Experiences:

When he was 10 years old hanging with his dad Earl and getting tossed a crowbar to go uncrate the Harleys that were just received from the factory in their wooden crates. First Harley a 1951 Hummer, broke his leg on it when he was 12 and still has it.

Laurie has resided in Lancaster since 1976 and has been in the motorcycle industry since 1999, when she met Scott and were married at the Laughlin River Run a short time later. She enjoys spending time with her grandkids and riding her 883 Superlow.

Janet is a native of Lancaster born and raised. She has been in the motorcycle industry since 1981. She enjoys camping, baking and her dogs.

Matt is a native of the Antelope Valley and is the fourth generation in his family to work for Harley-Davidson®. He enjoys Motorcycles and video games.

One of his most memorable Harley-Davidson® Experiences:

Doing a wheelie on his Buell 1125R and going to Willow Springs Race Track and dragging knee in turn 3! Currently owns a Street Glide.

Cathy has been in the valley since 1999, previously living in Malibu Canyon. She has been in the HD® industry starting in 1997. She enjoys Painting, making dream catchers, riding her 2003 Dyna Super glide Sport and camping.
